Salamander is known as common name for the order of Caudata which exists 9 families, of which 8 are found in North America. A newt is also an aquatic amphibian of the family Salamandridae, Newts are classified in the subfamily Pleurodelinae of the family Salamandridae, and are found in North America, Europe and Asia.
